Hybrid Drive System
Our Hybrid Drive System will integrate with the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) of any existing diesel prime mover to displace 50% of the vehicle diesel usage, saving up to 125,000 litres per vehicle annually*.
Our prototype vehicle will be the common 9-axle 68-tonne payload B-Double class; however, larger road train retrofit options for mine ore haulage will be possible.
Partnering with Bosch Rexroth, our system will augment the prime mover ICE and drive systems with a low-speed, high-torque electric motor, powered by a large onboard battery to accommodate the vehicle's drive cycle.
